Prof. Mohieddine Jelali and Sebastian Zareba – representing the ReMech – will attend the 10th Aachen Colloquium for maintenance, diagnostics and system monitoring (AKIDA), which takes place in Aachen on 19th and 20th of novembre 2014. Sebastian Zareba¬†will present the conference paper entitled “Fehlerdiagnose von hydraulischen Stellantrieben in Walzanlagen mittels eines unscented Kalman-Filters”, co-authored with Mohieddine Jelali, M. Chemnitz and A. Vollmer.

For the past 17 years it is the goal of Aachen for maintenance, diagnostics and system monitoring AKIDA to offer a platform for a lively and constructive exchange between industry and research every two years. This is achieved with increasing success – the AKIDA has evolved in German-speaking area as an important colloquium in the field of plant monitoring and maintenance.

In 2014 professionals from the mining industry, metallurgical plant and rolling mill technology, wind energy, as well as representatives of the universities come together on the AKIDA, to echange ideas about trends and new developments, to discuss current issues and to give impetus to innovative solution concepts.
